Is Your Student Sick In Starkville?

Every parent probably worries about their student getting sick while they are in Starkville at school. It's a natural concern because you probably wonder if they know where to go or what to do when they are sick. Lucky for you, there are great options in Starkville for your student to take advantage of on their sick days.

 

Did you know that there is a student health center located conveniently on campus? The Longest Student Health Center (LSHC) is located on the south side of campus, and they offer free office visits for all enrolled MSU students. Any medical procedure or supplies are priced reasonably for students. The LSHC even has its own pharmacy for the patient's convenience. The LSHC is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Another option that is located downtown is State Urgent Care. They are open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. State Urgent Care can help your student with urgent injuries or illnesses. They accept most insurances, and they offer fast, convenient care. This urgent care is walk-in only, but if your student needs to call them, they can call at (662)553-4732.

 

The OCH Regional Medical Center is also located in Starkville for more serious injuries or illnesses. They emergency services, general surgeries, OB/GYN, orthopedics, breast health, primary care, and many more services.
