This charming lake-view lodge is only 8 miles from Mississippi State University. The Bouchillon Homestead is famous in Starkville for its one-of-a-kind, rustic charm and the open floor plan is perfect for entertaining large groups. The kitchen is newly remodeled with double ovens, a copper sink, and granite countertops. All dishes, utensils, cookware an serving pieces are provided.
The Lodge sleeps 20 in five uniquely designed bedrooms. The Treetop is on the main floor and has 2 queens, 1 bunk in alcove and a bathroom suite. The Lake View has a queen bed, a bunk bed and a bath with clawfoot tub. On the lower level there is The Cavern. This room has a queen bed, a bunk in the alcove and an attached private bath. Also on the lower level is The Sprout, with two single beds that can be combined to a king, a bunk bed and a hall bath. The Sunrise Room is furnished with a full bed and a bunk bed and has a hall bath. Both downstairs bathrooms are newly remodeled.
This property also has a playroom with an art and Lego table as well as a stage. All linens, sheets, towels, washcloths, etc. are provided. Though fishing, boating, and pets are not allowed – they do have free WiFi (for those of you who need to stay connected!).
